I simply love how perfectly crooked these elegant pillars are!!!! I mean to go to all the time and effort to create them an not to strive for expected perfection . . . Or better still . . . To deliberately avoid the common expectations yet still of course maintain strength and durability and unique character .... is quite a statement really :-) I love it.
Remember that I mentioned the washerwoman earlier ... Well ... she's another profound silent statement, a washerwoman ... an icon of the poor, standing strong upholding the platform above upon which the world walks, mmm well these beautiful coloured circles in the ceiling above the crooked pillars . . . Are made from broken cups and plates ( and bottles) from the nearby crockery factory, because the money was not available for usual materials. The idea of this park was to create pockets of small villages where in the residents would live in connection with one another sharing a communal garden and court yard etc. But due to the lack of available funds only 2 houses were built.
And see the jewelry pieces Si?. . . . Our inside doors are famous already :-)
